It was a biting tooth and nails kind of day
From New York City to the streets of LA
We were watching our TVs
Tweeting a storm all of that evening
Ready to vent, ready to fight

And that day somehow turned right into four
And it was announced that Trump was headed for the door
Some were happy, some were grieved
And some asked questions such as these

Due to political persuasion, or conviction that is sovereign
Or possibly conspiracies
And though mostly likely upon that day
