We are surrounded by our sin
We cannot tell right from wrong
And yet we’ve known all along
We are helpless within
They say the fads will bring us peace
TV preachers are all we need
Yet as we stare across the seas
And encounter disbelief
Somehow we hum along and sing
Then pray…
Renew the fervor
Ignite the wonder
Start a fire inside

Day after day, we grow old
