Redemption
By: Jacob McGowen
As seasons pass and
Time goes by
It seems that many never cry
They don’t complain
They’re never in need
And as I’m struggling to believe…
Will I cling to Your Word?
Or the world and its ways?
Get lost in a crowd or
Fall, then seek Your face
Should I run away?
To whom should I escape?
These are my questions
As a son in need of
redemption.
All my wand’rings leave me dry
So tired of doubting you but I,
Have come to know and to believe
That all around me need to see…
To cling to Your Word
Not the world and its ways
Find You in the crowd
Fall, then seek Your face
And though the questions
May remain, I pray we’d learn
The lesson, that He supplies
Our redemption.
